What if I miss my class? Are there make-up classes?
Missed classes may be made up by attending another class of similar level. Ask your instructor or call the studio office for an appropriate make-up class.What do I need to wear? Is there a dress code?
Yes, there is a dress code for boys and a dress code for girls for each class. For specific requirements, visit our Dress Code page. (For Dress Code for summer classes, click here.) Hair MUST be worn in a bun with NO BANGS for ballet. Hair MUST be worn in ponytail or similar style for all other classes. No T-shirts, sweats, or jeans permitted. Students will NOT be permitted in class with inappropriate hair or dress.Where can I purchase supplies for my class?
For your convenience, all required dancewear is available for purchase at GDDA. We are pleased to offer Revolution Dancewear at affordable prices and excellent quality. This brand of shoes and tights is required for most classes for our June Concert so that our dancers look uniform and professional. Please see our Dress Code page for information. Students may be sized and purchase their dancewear during registration hours or office hours. Convenient "bundles" are available for Creative Dance and some other classes.
