2026 Intensive Workshops (Ages 7 and up)
These workshops focus on improving your technique, increasing strength and flexibility, and also developing performance skills in all dance forms. Summer is a great time to focus on your dance training and refine your skills! Advance your technique this summer with this excellent pre-professional program. GDDA summer faculty provide excellent technical instruction for dancers who are passionate about dance! Dancers enjoy engaging, enriching classes, and time with dance friends!!
Instensive Ballet Workshops
Week 1: July 13-15, Week 2: July 20-22, Week 3: July 27-29Workshop A (Elementary):
Dates/Time: Mon & Wed 10am-1:30pmFor Ages: 7 & up (completed Sparkle, Elementary Ballet or PreBallet)*
Tuition: $130/week (Register for 3 weeks & take $30 off with code 3WEEKS)
Workshop B & C (Intermediate):
Dates/Time: Mon, Tues, Wed 11am-2:30pmFor Ages: 9 & up (B: completed Shimmer I, C: completed Shimmer II)*
Tuition: $190/week (Register for 3 weeks & take $30 off with code 3WEEKS)
Workshop C+ (Upper Intermediate):
Dates/Time: Mon, Tues, Wed 12:30-4pmFor Ages: Approximately 11 & up (completed Shimmer III/III+)

Workshop D & E (Advanced):
Dates/Time: Mon, Tues, Wed 12:30-4:45pmFor Ages: Approximately 12 & up (D: completed Shine I, E: completed Shine II/III)*

- Early Bird Discounts: Register & pay in full by March 1st for 10% off or May 1st to receive 5% off!
Other Important Information:
- Ages listed for workshops are approximate (Contact the office with questions)
- Workshop students should bring a packed lunch or snack, bottled water, and a beach towel.
- Sparkle/Shimmer/Shine dancers are required to enroll in at least 2 weeks of the workshops.
- Sparkle/Shimmer/Shin dancers are encouraged to take all 3 weeks if possible.
- Competition Team dancers are also required to enroll in the Competition Team Workshop.
- Showcases will be held on the deck on Thursday, July 30th in the evening (Rain Date: Friday, July 31st).
- Workshop students will be chosen to perform choreography in the showcases.
Competition Team Workshops (Ages 7 and up)
Required for all Competition Team dancers and recommended for all dancers interested in the 2026/27 team. A 2026/27 team audition will be held on the first workshop day (July 16th).
Competition Team Workshops
Dates: July 16, 23, and 30 (Thursdays)12:30pm - 4:00pm Tanzanite/Diamonds (Upper Interm./Advanced, approx. age 12 & up)
10:00am - 1:30pm Pearl/Amethyst (Elem/Intermediate, approx. age 7 & up)
- Current team members should register for the team they are in currently.
- Team members will also have mandatory evening rehearsals/privates Aug 24-Sept 4 (Rehearsal/private fees TBD).
