Dance Theatre ~
GDDT is the “Performance Division” at the dance academy. GDDT has produced various fall or winter productions including “The Nutcracker”, “The Christmas Gift”, “Elsa’s Winter Festival”, and “Christmas Treasures”.
This year, GDDT dancers are encouraged to audition for Moscow Ballet’s Nutcracker since we are the host studio for their performance in York. We will also present “Winter Wonders” this year as well as various outreach shows in our community. In the spring, the company will rehearse special parts for our June Concert.
Mission StatementGreater Dover Dance Theatre seeks to provide talented, dedicated dancers with training and performance opportunities in a kind and positive environment. We challenge and encourage each dancer to achieve their personal best and develop a deep appreciation for the art form of dance. We promote an atmosphere of encouragement and team work between dancers. Company dancers are expected to make dance their first priority over other activities.
